I'm a native Charlottean, one of the few!  I've lived all over Charlotte starting out up and down Central Avenue, then to Matthews and Mint Hill.  After returning from college I lived in the Southpark area.  From there I moved to Dilworth, to a condo in Uptown, and currently live in Historic Wilmore in the South End area of center city.

Having lived in many parts of the city, and in all types of housing, I have broad range of personal experience to help guide buyers to the right neighborhood and right type of home.

I began my carreer as an appraiser and over 12 years built a 10 person operation that served 14 counties.  I appraised over 15,000 properties and worked for over two dozen banks.  I use this experience to assist my clients in making the right decisions in terms of price and value as well as investment potential for properties.

I left the appraisal field and founded Urban Realty in 1999.  After a few years I began working for developers marketing and selling new condo projects in central Charlotte.  In 2009 I sold my interest in Urban Realty and moved to join the Developer Services team and My Townhome Realty.  I also began concentrating on assisting buyers purchase foreclosed and bank-owned properties - many of the investors I'd worked for began seeking these properties and leaning on my appraisal experience and personal investing experience to seek out the best deals on the market.

This is still what I do today and I'd love to add you as a client!

Cheryl's experience comes from being a real estate investor, contractor and property specialist for her own portfolio and properties over the past 2 decades. She and her husband also owned, managed and sold a custom kitchen and contracting business in the Great Falls area just outside Washington, D.C., where she grew up.

Cheryl and her family moved to Charlotte in 2006. She is the mother of ranging from a college grad to Stella, born just a couple of years ago!

Cheryl works with many investors looking to either build a rental portfolio or find properties ready for rehab.

She also helps owner occupant clients locate homes and condos and is a HUD and Fannie Mae specialist.
